I wanted to tell you that in Grendel, by John Gardner, there is a small "So it goes" after the death of the goat.. (the symbol of Grendel's more instinctual and animalistic side..the side he loathes and denies)
In two thousand eight, seven (or so) people got together for the sake of getting together. And doing something. They decided to write a haiku a day (or as close as possible) to one another, to the world, to whomever. Enjoy.

Correction: Not the death of the goat...the death of the children, their innocence and the day..
